School Uniforms

School uniforms/tracksuits must be worn.

Our school uniform is a wine jumper, grey shirt (polo shirts allowed), grey trousers/skirt/pinafore and wine tie (tie is optional). The school tracksuit is wine top and grey bottoms.

Coloured/striped/designer tracksuits, t-shirts or shorts are not allowed. There is no compulsion on parents to buy the uniform in a particular shop and while a degree of flexibility is allowed in styles of clothing e.g.type of skirt/t-shirt, there is no flexibility allowed in colour.

From September 2015 we aim have 'iron-on' crests for purchase directly from the school. Please keep an eye on the 'lastest school news' section of our website regarding the crests' availability.

Tracksuits have the school crest on them and can be bought from Ms.Maureen Moorehead, Bunclody or Matt Mernagh, Enniscorthy. Each child is given a designated place for coats and hats.

In the interests of health and safety, pupils are allowed stud earrings only.

Each child from 1st-6th class should have their own hurling helmet with faceguard in the interests of health and safety. They should also have a hurl for skills which takes place on a regular basis as part of the P.E. programme.

Parents are asked to label all items of clothing, sports gear and swimming gear at the beginning of the school year or when a new item of clothing is acquired. Name tags avoid confusion, loss and unnecessary expense.
